Rulside is an educational platform for learning open-source intelligence through verifiable decisions, interactive exercises and fictional investigations. The objective is not to accumulate XP: it is to learn how to observe, corroborate, document and explain the limits of a conclusion.

Progress represents completed lessons and cases. Assessment rewards the methodologically defensible option or process, not speed or an ability to guess. Hints reduce the exercise score to reflect the help used, but never block learning. Every answer includes an explanation and activities can be repeated.
Safety, privacy and ethical limits
Learning investigations and entities are fictional or controlled. Rulside does not teach learners to access accounts, bypass controls, obtain private data or attribute real identities without sufficient evidence. The methodology prioritises proportionality, traceability, explicit uncertainty and respect for privacy.
The role of RulsAI
RulsAI is an in-platform support chatbot. It can explain the current screen, clarify a technique and suggest the next step, but it is designed not to solve the exercise or replace the learner’s reasoning.
How the content is maintained
The curriculum is reviewed as a whole: answer coherence, wording clarity, difficulty across levels, translations, accessibility and technical operation. Techniques are presented as reviewable processes, not absolute guarantees.

Do I need previous experience?
No. Explorer teaches every technique step by step. Analyst and Expert let you practise the same curriculum with progressively greater autonomy.
What will I learn in Rulside?
You will learn to plan searches, verify images and videos, analyse documents, geolocate places, link fictional identities and reconstruct public infrastructure.
How are exercises assessed?
Each decision is compared with a methodological criterion. The explanation shows which evidence supports the answer, which limitations remain and what should happen next.
Will I investigate real people?
No. Learning cases are fictional or controlled and are designed for practising OSINT with respect for privacy and proportionality.
What changes between Explorer, Analyst and Expert?
The skill remains the same while the support changes: Explorer guides the process, Analyst requires more independent decisions and Expert presents the full case with few hints.
