1. What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small file saved by your browser to remember information between visits. An IP address is not a cookie: it is technical data received by the server when a connection is established.

2. Required cookies

These cookies are required to provide the requested features. You can block them in your browser, but sign-in and saving will stop working.

3. Optional analytics

If you accept, Rulside retains for no more than 30 days the pages and routes visited, opened worlds and lessons, selected level, language, screen dimensions, device category and aggregated interactions to improve the product. It may also retain the visit source or referrer. It does not use advertising cookies, commercial profiles or third-party analytics tools.

4. Required technical logging

Regardless of your cookie choice, the server converts the IP address into a keyed pseudonymous hash and logs date and time, requested page, general device type, trial start and completion, and an approximate area when supplied by the hosting provider. These data support security, abuse prevention, progress continuity and basic technical metrics. They are retained for no more than 30 days, do not include GPS and are not used for advertising.

5. Change your choice

You can give or withdraw consent at any time using “Cookie settings” in the Rulside footer. Withdrawal stops future optional analytics without affecting your use of the platform.
